This happend to me yesterday at a Casino in Berlin. I was up almost 1200 euros, started with 450, so i had about 1650 sth in chips. The blinds were 5/10 euros, and a new guy sits down with 2000 euros. He doesn't wait for the big blind (first weak sign for him being a donk), immediately puts in 20. cards are dealt. i'm sitting in the big blind , and he's first position to play.bang, fires in a raise of 320. everyone folds around to me. i got A K suited. i decide to just call, putting him on a range of hands like JJ 1010 or 9 9 sth like that (and of course not willin to risk all the money with an unmade hand). The flop comes A K 5 (rainbow). I check over to him, he instantly moves all in. no reason for me to fold.I call. I show my 2 pair, he shows a 7 3 off suit. turn brings a 4, river a 2. I know all about the stats that i would crush him on long term, but that didn't matter to me at that precise moment. As Greenstein said on High Stakes Poker, math is idiotic. That guy probably ended up losing all his money at the end of the night, but so did I. Who cares about maths and poker instincts, when I end up the same way a donk ends up.

boy thats darn ugly. I thought Iam resistent to tilt, but by only reading that I would have gone on major life tilt.
No way to avoid imo, but given his mega raise etc. I prolly ship it in pre.
Other than that, question is if its better to rebuy and play against this idiot 9/10handed or better leave.
Besides how often such idiots show up at 5/10???

Maybe i should have rebuyed in, but was way too disgusted and on tilt to keep on playin. I would have probably lost even more. They do show up at those stakes very often, since i've managed to triple up against (not bad but weak) players. That guy should have hit the roulette tables, he would have 36 X his bet. I haven't played online nore live since, waiting to regain confidence.

loool i also played yesterday in the casino... but i cant remember on this hand. hmm You also mean Berlin Germany Potsdammer Platz?
but, i knwo moast of the guys of these table. I just dont know 2 people of the table. Who are you? oure the guy from Australia? But i can tell you something: It is normal that the people in the casino make a straddle , so he put 20 in
There are some really rich onlinekids on the table. They make a lot money online. SO they dont care if they loose 1k :-)
SO you shouldnt call these people fishes.
And by the way. who startes with 450 euro on a nl1k table?
I hope this is no missunderstanding here. The table also started 15 min before i arrived to the casino. Maybe it happend in these time But this just sounds very funny for me here when i read that

I played in Berlin at the Speilbank and had the same thing happen to me. I ended up losing 7k with the same thing happening every week (was also playing the 10/20). I would win like 1k 2k at start of session and Bammm!!! just some weird play getts there that made no sense.
Got in 6 hands in a row with 10 to 1 or better and lost all of them before I gave up. Was great game I just needed more money. If I ever become a rich poker player I will deff. go back for revenge.
My last hand there I had bought in for 500 and had 2400 in my stack. I had 44 in bb all fold to button who limps. sb calls flop 4c 6c 8c. Solid sb player who has me covered bets 15 I raise to 50 button folds. SB raises to 200 and I call. Turn is a 4 SB bets 200 I raise to 600 SB moves all in and I insta-call with quads of course. SB has 5c 7c AAAARRRGGGHHH!!

Schusch those kids arnt internet pros I dont think. I do know that they own illegal card rooms because they invited me to play there. It was funney because I showed up at one and almost evryone left because they thought I was a cop. I did recover 2k euro there so I was glad I went to their rooms though. The rake was outrageous though straight 10% with no cap.
