As I said above, PokerStars’ software is one of the best in the business. It is an extremely stable platform (with the amount of traffic they get it’d better be). Make no mistake though, PokerStars offers good traffic on all the poker variants featured. If you fancy playing Razz or Stud Hi/Lo online this is the place to come to. Their tournament traffic is around 155,000 players at peak hours. The quality of the competition is mixed, looser at low limits, tight and difficult to beat at higher ones.
PokerStars’ promotions system is as big as the site. It is largely based on online qualifiers, and year after year it sends the most numerous crew of online players to the WSOP main event. The sign-up bonus of $100, which represents a 200% match on players’ deposits is not the most generous in the business, but then again, PokerStars can afford to get a little stingy with it as the other deals it offers more than make up for it.
